Time Limit Links
Our Time Limit Links directory application is a lightweight program that gives visitors to your site the power to add links to a directory. The links will be placed in the directory under a time limit. When that limit is reached, the link is deactivated.
All of the links added to the system are saved and viewable by the administrator. There is also an option to instantly expire all links on the site, as well as delete links already added.

Site Settings
- Name of the site (the part that shows in the browser’s title bar)
- Description of the site (the Meta description that search engines use)
- Keywords of the site (the Meta keywords that search engines use)
- Email Address (this should be a real address that you receive mail to)
- Offsite Link (a link to your main site that will show on the main page)
Security Settings
- Turn on Recaptcha. (Requires Recaptcha account)
- Set your private and public keys
- IP Limiter (Limit how many active submissions can be accepted from an IP address)
- Admin Password (Change your password)
Link Settings
- Automatically Approval (on/off to automatically accept submissions without approval)
- Block Limit (how many links can be shown at one time)
- Expiration Time (Set how many seconds, days, hours, weeks, months or years before a link expires)
- Alert Me (get email alerts when someone adds a link)
If you forget your password, you can reset it with the password reset feature.
The way it works:
Put your email address in the form and hit submit. A pass code is generated and sent to your email address. Click or copy and paste the link in the browser. This will authenticate the pass code and generate a whole new password for you. It is a simple password, and you’ll be able to get back in to change it to what you want.
Easy as Pie Installer
The installer engine for the Time Limit Links application is very easy to use. Change the settings in the configuration file so it can find your database, and run the install script. This will ask you for your site name, email, password, and site path. The site path is usually generated for your perfectly fine, but you can change it if you like. Once you fill in those four fields in the form, click the install button and it will instantly install the database information for you.
The application is very easy to use, and can be used for a variety of purposes. How about giving people a place to post their Twitter account links for a day? How about Myspace and Facebook links? You can even alter the header to include a Google Adsense banner advertisement to monetize your site.
