Asheboro Tech
The idea was simple, so the design needed to match. With any blog, it’s best to be able to get to the sections quickly and find what you want to read about.
Asheboro Tech is a technology blog that deals with computer repair, upgrades, the web, and even video games. We wanted to keep the design simple but on target with the site. Powered by the Wordpress blogging platform, we styled the site to be easy on the eyes so reading wouldn’t be a hassle. But the real power resides in what you don’t really see.
The site is stocked full of great plug-ins, such as one that lets us track stats easily, showing who’s reading what and using which browser. We know how to gear the site design in the future and as well as what types of articles to write. This is very effective when dealing with content based sites like a blog.
Another great thing about the Asheboro Tech website is that it’s easy to take the content with you. Every blog post has a print button that will automatically give you a printable page. Plus with the addition of an RSS feed, visitors can get updates easily in their RSS reader or and email programs.
The whole idea behind the design was to pack in the features it needed, and not flood it full of useless garbage. Make it easy to get to the content, and visitors will be happy. That’s what we did.
